2022 Sugar Creek City Events

March 12 – St. Pat’s Parade – Historic Center Parking lot line up. Walk South on Sterling Avenue 2 or 3 blocks, turn and meet inside Kross's.

April 16 - Optimist Easter Egg Hunt- Harrison Park

April 22 & 23 - KC Sanctioned BBQ Contest  – Mike Onka parking lot. Open to the public on Friday, 4/22. Closed for competition on Saturday, 4/23

May 13 & 14th – City Wide Garage Sale - no permit required 

June 10 & 11 – Slavic Festival – Mike Onka Hall and Parking Lot

June – Splash Park opening celebration – Kaw Field

July 4 - Parade & Fireworks - Always on the Fourth. Lineup for the Parade begins on Sterling at 10 am. Fireworks begins at dusk, approximately 9 pm. Location TBD this year.

August 26 – Car Show & Concert -   Register you car/truck/specialty vehicle before 5 pm and park in the old swimming pool parking lot. Judging begins at 6 pm. Band starts playing at 7 pm.        

Fall – City Wide Garage Sale - no permit required

October 29 -Fall Festival – Wells Park

December 3– Tree Lighting – Wells Park
