The Sugar Creek Police Department, located at 1001 Heroes Way in the heart of the city, works with the residents and businesses of our city with the goal of making our city a safe place to live. Our department has 38 men and women which includes 16 Sworn (Certified) Officers, 6 Emergency Communications Dispatchers, 10 Reserve (Certified) Officers, 2 Reserve Communications Dispatchers and 2 Chaplains.

HARASSING PHONE CALLS

Several Sugar Creek residents have received harassing phone calls that sound as if they are computer generated.   The voice on the other end is cursing, hateful, and right down scary.  The callers have been tracked to several different locations within the U.S. and shut down inevitably a copy cat picks up and targets a different location.  This appears to be a game and no one has been harmed beyond the phone call, except for the postings on web sites. Suspects use the internet to place calls, when the person answering the phone is being recorded, so their voice can be used on recordings to other people.  The best thing to do is say nothing and hang up.

The Police Department appreciates your patience and understanding as we work diligently to resolve this problem.

COURT LOCATION

Municipal Court location has moved into the Police & Fire Building at 1001 Heroes Way.
