Welcome to the Office of the City Clerk

The City Clerk serves as the custodian of records for the City of Sugar Creek, including minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other vital documents.  The City Clerk also provides clerical support to the Mayor and City Council, administers the oath of office to sworn personnel and newly elected City Officials.  The City Clerk accepts filings for elected City Officials prior to the April election according to Missouri State Statutes, and works with Jackson County Board of Elections Commissioners in the handling of elections for the city.  Please reach out to our office at City Hall if you need additional assistance.

Council Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers.  The minutes from each meeting will be available for viewing as soon as they are released. The minutes will be available for approximately 6 months.
